Cosplay Contest
The crown jewel of all FanCon events is our amazing cosplay contest!
Walk the main stage and show off your cosplay creativity for all to enjoy. Regardless of your experience level, if you want to sign up to be involved in our cosplay contest, there is a division for you, and it is free to join.
DIVISIONS
Depending on experience and level of entries, contestants will select placement into the appropriate division.

Novice: New cosplayers and those without a cosplay contest award.

Journeyman: Cosplayers who have some experience and may have won previous awards.

Masters: Experienced cosplayers who have the confidence to participate against the best of the best.
Costumes will be judged by a select group of professional cosplayers based on criteria including accuracy, polish, difficulty, build percentage and impact.

Speak up!
Step into the spotlight at Island FanCon with our exciting main stage event, "Speak Up!" This unique opportunity allows any ticketholder to pre-register and perform live alongside professional voice actors. Participants will read selected sides, showcasing their vocal talents on the event's biggest stage. A panel of industry-leading voice actors will evaluate the performances, and one lucky winner will be chosen to receive a grand prize: a complete, professionally designed and recorded voice acting portfolio. This includes demo reels and a signed contract with a voice acting agent, giving the winner a significant boost in their voice acting career. Whether you're a seasoned performer or a newcomer, "Speak Up" is your chance to shine!

con-quest
Get ready to conquer the competition at Island FanCon with our exclusive premium pass holder event, "ConQuest"! This 3-day gaming tournament will challenge participants in a series of matches, leading to the ultimate showdown on the main stage. Competitors will face off in various games, battling to the top. The semi-finals and finals will take place on the final day of FanCon, in front of a live audience on the main stage, where the best of the best will vie for the championship title and epic prizes. Do you have what it takes to be the ConQuest champion?

MEDIA ACCREDITATION AND ON-SITE MEDIA
Media accreditation and services for the Island FanCon event are provided to media on assignment to cover Island FanCon. Due to the demand for tickets, the number of Press Passes available is limited, and we cannot approve every request.
For best results, please submit a request for media accreditation no later than one month before the event and provide as much information as possible. Please note that guidelines for on-site media will be shared with those selected for accreditation.
